The Georgia Force has announced that former AFL quarterback Andy Kelly will join the coaching staff as the Offensive Coordinator in 2009. The team also signed Assistant Head Coach & Defensive Coordinator Bob Kronenberg, an annual AFL Head Coach candidate, to a one-year extension. Kelly and Kronenberg were both members of Nashville Kats teams that appeared in consecutive ArenaBowls prior to the franchise's relocation to Georgia in 2002.
Kelly will join the coaching ranks after spending 15 seasons in the AFL, where he etched his name near the top of every passing category in League history. He will use his experience on the field and knowledge of the game to make the AFL’s top ranked offense in 2008 (328.7 ypg) even more productive and efficient in 2009.
